Under the Hammerbeam Roof
Under the Hammerbeam Roof was an opera written for the Sing 500 celebrations that mark the anniversary of the building of Hampton Court Palace in 1515. Working with 100 local adults, all of whom were involved in the creative process, the piece was performed in the Great Hall in November 2015, under the famous hammerbeam roof. Participants in the opera came from the Surryey community, many with disabilities, and included refugees.
